First I want to say, the book wasn't bad for the price. I purchased it and couldn't put it down. The dissapointment came towards the end, I expected a better ending but found it to be abrubt and rushed through. She spent some time developing good characters, I figured we'd have a better, more tearful ending. At the point I thought I should've been crying, no tears came mostly because it was rushed and ended quickly. I thought it should've been longer, and the wrap up more detailed. Over all though, it was alright and kept my attention.Product details

Safe Landing edition by Tess Oliver Paranormal Romance eBooks Reviews
I cannot believe the amount of emotion Ms. Oliver can induce with just words. I've NEVER cried while reading a book before, ever, and I wept like a baby with this one. Such a wonderful, yet tragic, love story.
Loved it!
Please write me some more books Ms. Oliver! D
The plotline was cute, and the story made me smile, but the whole pacing of the book was way too fast. I remember getting halfway done, and I'm thinking to myself, "This is all that's happened at the halfway mark? This is still exposition!" There wasn't much conflict at all, which made it kind of boring. I know now why this book was $0.99. It just wasn't filled out enough. I think if it had some more embellishing, variances in the pace, and more defined important moments it would be a decent book. However, this book unfortunately left me wanting a lot more.
the plot of this book seemed pretty good while i was reading it. But after i finished the book, i realized that a couple of the elements were pointless. the ghost, spirit whatever, for example. i find his roll in the book semipointless. although, the spirit does help shape our main character, and she does help him out, i personally thought the ending chapters couldve been better. i didnt enjoy the book once i had time to think about it.
this book is alright but the author has some work to do when forming plots
For a dollar book, I liked it. I like her other one a little better, but the story was well written and the characters were believable. It does leave a few things left unsaid as others have said, but to me they were minor. It's a fun, short read that you do when you aren't looking for complicated and just looking for enjoyable. I'd say it's more for teens, but again, not a bad read.
I bought this book on a whim, it was only a buck for , so I thought "Why not?". I now know why it was so cheap. Safe Landing does have an interesting plot, and a happy ending, and if you are a casual reader then this book will not bother you. However, when I reached the end of this book I felt cheated. So many plot points were unresolved! I like a tight story, I get that sometimes a book is better if you don't get everyones happily-ever-after story. But not even the main characters stories were wrapped up! It just bothered me and it felt like the book ended on a cliff-hanger. And the main character didn't even grow much. It went on about her being self-centered but she never REALLY changed.

The plot points that bothered me most were
*We never saw what happened to Sebastian. He faded away like always. Did he move on? Was there more unfinished business? Why did he pick Brazil to appear to anyway?
*There was never any conflict with Seth's ex-girlfriend and Brazil. It kept mentioning her like it was building up to a fight, but the fight never happened.
*What about the parents? Did Brazil ever help her mom with the heartbreak? Did her dad ever get the horse back? This point admittedly is one of the ones that could have been ignored it just bugged me.
Overall, it was an okay book and a good buy for only 99 cents, but it was pretty much your typical teen book, except shorter and with a bit of an open end. The main character goes through the same normal teen angst divorced parents, moving to a new, lame place, a cute guy, and a young ghost in need of her help. I liked the book overall, and it was an easy read- i read it in a day, but it was lacking a bit in that the character didn't develop very much and everything went rather quickly, there wasn't a lot of elaboration. In addition to that, the book ended rather suddenly, which i didn't expect and there were some loose ends that weren't exactly tied up, but you could at least assume what would happen. As a whole, if you're just a teenager looking for that genre of book, then go ahead, but if you're looking for something deeper and more interesting, i wouldn't recommend it as much, because you will just dislike it.
I don't want to give any spoilers so I'll just say that the ending wasn't what you would call a modern open ending which the reader can interpret for themselves. it was just smack you in the face abrupt and incomplete. I feel as if this book is only about 70% done. On top of that I never really got the feeling that Brazil grew as a character at least, certainly not as much as I hoped she would.
